Heart Compass Retreat
A heart-centered retreat for sustainable resilience
Gather at Bayfield Center for Well-Being, 300 Manypenny Ave.
In a time of collective distress and disruption, this retreat offers a quiet, protected space to return to the heart as an inner compass. When outer events pull us into vigilance, grief, outrage, or helplessness, we pause together—not to turn away, but to re-orient how we meet what is unfolding.
Through silence, gentle movement, guided reflection, and shared presence, we practice resting in Being rather than bracing against life. We explore the Heart Compass as a source of inner orientation—calling on courage to face what is true, surrender to soften resistance, strength to stay grounded and steady, and tenderness to remain human and compassionate.
This retreat does not bypass injustice or collective suffering. It honors the moral complexity many feel when tending themselves while others are under threat. Here, inner care is framed not as withdrawal, but as devotion and preparation—nourishing the inner sanctuary so we can respond with clarity, conscience, and care without burning out or hardening.
Guarding the Inner Sanctuary is an invitation to pause, listen, and re-align—together—so that our presence in the world remains rooted in the values we wish to embody in this moment and beyond.
